Criteria for application / Eligibility

Fellowships will be awarded to candidates who have a doctoral degree or at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience in any scientific organization (academic or not). Age limit will not be a criteria. Candidates must submit an original research project to be conducted in the BBL. The original field of training must not necessarily be in neuroscience or psychology, although it is likely to correspond with major disciplines represented in the CISA or CIN (see Description page). The project submitted by the candidate should address an original question concerning the human brain and behaviour, and should be freely designed by the fellows in collaboration with the future supervisor(s). Ideally, we ask that submitted projects attempt to integrate two (or more) of the investigation methodologies available in the BBL modules (e.g. MRI, EEG, virtual reality, etc). Ideally, we expect that projects should implicate two different co-supervisors, each associated with a different module (e.g. virtual reality and sleep physiology).

The program will be open to all nations and genders, and the selection based only on proven excellence and evidence of future potential.
